Ageing worldwide populations are putting an enormous strain on social insurance programs. It is imperative that individuals take the initiative to protect themselves. Long-term-care insurance (LTC) seems like a perfect product for the insurance industry to sell however, some early product failures have caused many companies to shy away from these products. Join us to learn more about these failures and, more importantly, some successes and ideas that can make LTC a more viable product in the future.
Much has been written on protection gaps in every type of insurance. The Geneva Association has commissioned a study to learn why people do not purchase insurance. See preliminary survey results and some insights as to combat this issue.
